About Us

I, Adamu Alhassan, MNIM, PSC, PhD, hail from Katsina State, but was brought up in Kaduna State, Northwestern Nigeria. After my primary and secondary education, I obtained a diploma and advanced diploma in public administration, a BSc in political science, a Masters in Development Studies from Bayero University Kano, and a PhD in Political Science.

I have about three decades of meritorious service with the Nigeria Customs Service, having served at major Nigerian seaports including Calabar, Apapa, Tin Can, PTML, and KLT. I also attended several professional courses in Nigeria and abroad, including Rural Border Patrol Operation (RBPO) in the United States of America and an African Study Tour to several African countries while in the Nigerian Customs Service. I am a graduate of the prestigious Staff College, a course offered to very few officers of the Nigerian Customs Service.

I specialize in modern port operations, investigation and inspection, valuation of goods, and auditing techniques, having participated in numerous courses within and outside the country with various professional bodies such as the Nigerian Institute of Management, Nigerian Army School of Military Police, Police Staff College, Jos, and the Nigerian Customs Staff and Command College, Gwagwalada, amongst others.

I am now a Senior Citizen, Certified Chartered Manager, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mazanya Merchant Limited, with our office located at Number 16/18 Ado Avenue, Apapa, Lagos. I am counting the blessings of life, sharing my wealth of experience in the shipping and freight forwarding business for both imports and exports from Nigerian ports to every part of the world.
